Change Your Air Filter Monthly
Replace your air filter monthly, or as recommended for your system. A clean filter keeps airflow high and the equipment working less to move the same air.
Heating and Cooling Inspections, One Flat $170 Annual Fee
The most reliable HVAC systems are the ones you maintain regularly. Harmon Heating & Cooling offers a $170 annual maintenance plan covering a full heating inspection and a full cooling inspection — so small problems surface before they become breakdowns.
A maintenance plan is an investment in the life and reliability of your heating and cooling system. Instead of paying for inspections one at a time, you pay $170 a year and your system gets a documented heating inspection and a documented cooling inspection — each one a specific checklist our technicians work through, not a quick look.
You can also explore AC repair or furnace repair if you have a problem that needs attention now.

Your $170 annual plan covers two visits — one for heating, one for cooling. Each follows a fixed checklist.
Inspect the heat exchanger, clean the ignition sensor, check igniter resistance, verify safety controls and confirm temperature rise is within spec, check blower motor amperage and capacitor, confirm electrical connections are operating safely, check filtration, and run an air stream carbon monoxide test.
Clean the condenser coil, check electrical connections, verify capacitor readings, amp check the compressor and condenser fan, record operating pressure, temperature, and subcooling, inspect the compressor contactor, flush the indoor condensate drain, and check filtration.
Our technicians explain what's normal seasonal behavior and what isn't, and help you understand how your system is performing across the year.
A maintenance plan is more effective when you pair it with good habits between visits.
Replace your air filter monthly, or as recommended for your system. A clean filter keeps airflow high and the equipment working less to move the same air.
Keep outdoor units clear of leaves, debris, and snow. Blocked airflow around the condenser forces the system to work harder and shortens its life.
Set your thermostat seasonally — 68°F in winter, 78°F in summer when you're away. Small setbacks reduce runtime and wear.
Unusual sounds, reduced cooling, or higher-than-normal bills are signs something needs attention. Catching them early keeps a minor fix from becoming a major one. Our technicians will give you these tips during your inspections, and show you how to spot problems early.
The $170 plan is paid annually and covers both seasonal inspections — a full heating checklist and a full cooling checklist. Call us at (317) 588-8303 with any questions about enrolling.
